iForge Digital
The iForge Digital is a branch of the iForge situated in the University of Sheffield’s Heartspace, just above the cafe. It focuses mostly on digital technologies and has many facilities available, including:
- Several 3D Printers
- A 3D Scanner
- A Microscope
- A PCB Mill and Printer
- A Sublimation Printer
- And a Vinyl Cutter

How to get there
To get to iForge Digital you first need to visit the iForge Main Space which is on the first floor of the Diamond. Ask a rep on shift if you can go to iForge Digital, they will check if someone is there and will swap your student card for an iForge digital access card.
Please take note of when the last shift of the day is because if you don’t get back on time you may not get your student card back till the next day at the earliest.
Directions
There are 2 simple ways to get to iForge Digital:
1. Start at the heartspace entrance.

- Enter through the doors and turn left before the stairs that lead down to the cafe.
- Walk through the door till you get to the stairs and go up one floor.
- Turn right at the top of the stairs.
- Take the next left turn (before the bridge).
- Follow the corridor until you to arrive at iForge Digital. It is swipe card access and the door is completely made of glass.
2. Start outside the big double doors into the Sir Frederick Mappin building.

- Enter and turn right before the stairs.
- Walk to the end of the corridor and follow the bend to the left.
- Walk past the stairs and take the left turn before the bridge.
- Follow the corridor until you to arrive at iForge Digital. It is swipe card access and the door is completely made of glass.
