Why
My desk, more often than not, tends to be untody and cluttered, and so I thought it’d be nice to organise it by having a designated space for my phone, wallet, keys and watch.
Design
I wanted to keep the design really simple and clean, and also be able to create it using a CNC machine. The photos show my CAD and how it was used with CAM to mill the final design. The material used was mahogany.
Process
The CAD was created in Fusion 360 and the CAM was set up to be used with the in house CNC machine. It took around 35 minutes to mill the piece.
Finish
The piece will be finished with Danish oil.
